Senior Pastors

Senior Pastor Brent Powell has served this ministry since 1986.  Brent attended Mid-Atlantic Bible College and Theological Seminary.  He has spoke in revivals and special services in South and North Carolina and has an international ministry via internet.  He and his wife Karen served under the leadership of the late Rev. William R. Pace, Sr. who was in the ministry for over 60 years.  Brent became Senior Pastor of New Hope when Rev. Pace retired to heaven!  Karen and Brent have been married for over 33 years.  Pastor Karen teaches in Gaffney while Pastor Brent is a local business owner.
